I think that in AX2009 “PSA” was an add-on that in later version became integrated with Dynamics AX, to be some of the advanced features of the project module.

So my understanding that Shirley is looking for the old documentation of the project module in that version  ?

Wow! That’s something I wasn’t aware of. 

I have found a few things for you:

This is version 4.0 and it’s referencing PartnerSource. You MAY be able to get something stored in an archive somewhere.
