Does anyone know how to (or if it’s possible to) grant security to the System Name field on the personalization screen?  In our company, anyone with Sys Admin access can see this field, but no one else.  We gave our buyer a designer license for Atlas because she is awesome in excel and with reports.  However, she can’t see the table names in AX to know where to start with the reports.  Is there somewhere else to get the table name from that I am not aware of?  What are other companies doing?  Do only Sys Admin users design reports in Atlas?  Thanks for your help!

Only system administrators can see that.  You can do some mods to allow others to see it though:

Personalisation screen – Microsoft Dynamics AX Community Forum

Absent the mod though, your user can look at the Query tab and generally figure out what table something is in or what query is feeding the form that they could expose to Excel through Document Data Sources.

Thanks Colby for the response.  That is what I thought.

      Have a great day!
