The technical design document is required for keeping track of customization for any specific requirement.Currently there is no tool to extract information of customized objects to excel for a specific layer.

 Onactuate has created a tool in Ax2012 to Create TDD, for creating excel file of the customized objects in any specify layer.

1) Most of the companies struggle because they don’t have any documentation available for the changes done and in case of partner change or even when resource changes then it becomes difficult to know what were the changes done for any functionality.

2) The kind of documentation provided through this tool might take hours if done manually.  Create TDD saves so much time and money that with only a click one can have all the documentation available.

3) This tool generates documentation of every node of AOT.
