Is there a way to mass update the ‘last inventory date’ on an asset? We would like to use AX to help us with our physical asset inventories, and would use this date to help us determine when the next inventory would be needed. But I can’t see having to update this field individually on every asset record.

Do you refer to the AssetTable.PhysicalInventory date field that can be found in the fixed asset location tab?
Assuming that this is the case, can you provide some details on what you refer to as ‘mass update’? (Do you plan to mass update your fixed assets only once or on a regular basis?)

Hi,
We do physical inventory of assets periodically throughout the year and would like to be able to update that date when that happens. We maybe inventory a couple hundred assets at a time, so manual updating of that field would be very time-consuming. We would ideally like to be able to update a spreadsheet listing the asset number and that ‘last inventory date.’
