AP clerk who enter AP invoice with offset account type project is unable to post. Only the person who is in approval group is able to post AP invoice with project
How ever AP clerk is able to post AP invoice with offset account type ledger
Is this a system bug! is some one came across with this kind of scenario

Sounds like a security issue. Have you compared security roles?

Hi Joshua, please can you clarify security role comparison with whom. AP clerk have same security entering vendor invoice and posting if offset account is Ledger but when it comes to Project it doesnt allow AP clerk to post. infolog error message “You do not have access to APinv journal” is it a bug. Would you be able to test on your side

Hi Nazim,
Please take a look at the settings on the journal name that is being used.  I would guess that there are 2 two journal names being used in this case.  The one for project sounds like it has the approval option activated for the journal name.  Hope that helps.
