Does anyone have any experience with using conversations in an AIF import and combining that with batched messages?

We are using AIF to bring in sales order data to AX using the file system adapter. We have enabled parallel processing and message batching to improve performance.

In one of our imports, we need to ensure that we update the sales order before we post the packing slip for the sales order. We can use conversations to ensure that messages get connected together and processed in order.

But we have some questions on the integration of conversations with batched messages in the AIF import. I’ve read through the online documentation and can’t quite answer everything and would love some input from anyone who has done this before.
