?Currently we have implemented case management for warranty issues and are utilizing activities to assign different tasks to different employees. We are having an issue setting up alerts to alert the responsible person of the activity.
In the attached example we have created an activity for our employee, Kristopher Krings, to go and repair some product in the field. We would like an alert sent to him showing that he has been assigned a new activity.Ā
When we try to set up the alert for the field responsible be set to: Kristopher Krings, it does not let us select his name in the drop box.Ā In fact, you can’t select anyone’s name.Ā
Am I missing something or is there a better way to send an alert for the required employee? I know they canĀ just view their Ā My activities grid page but IĀ want real time alerts.Ā
Thank you in advance. Ā

Hi Tracy,
We currently use case management and have workflows defaulted. The workflow takes care of the notification. Are you using workflows?Ā
