I have a scenario where an approval goes to a workflow user group with 5 users with a sequence of 1. The workflow is setup to approve the record if any of those 5 users approve the document. The issue is, the other 4 users approvals stay in an OPEN state even after the document is approved. Is there a way in the workflow setup that when 1 of those 5 users approves a record, all 5 of the approval requests change to an APPROVED status?

On the “An Approval Request is Approved” line, in the “Then Response” section, add the additional response “Approve the approval request for the record.” This ensures that all the approval entries are closed, even if only one of the approvers approves the request.
