Virtual Community Summit- 2020

Hello–
Does anyone know how the virtual Community Summit classes are going to work?Ā I haven’t come across any information regarding any links that may be provided to attend the classes, as well as if we will actually need to sign up for the classes we plan on attending.Ā Any information would be useful!

For the Academy sessions, you should receive a link or some information about that since those cost you an extra fee.
The Summit Breakout sessions will likely be accessible from the Summit website:Ā https://www.dynamiccommunities.com/events/community-summit-north-america/Ā
Summit sessions will be using a conference tool called vFair which has Zoom integrated for the actual sessions.I am sure that you will receive more information soon.

Hello Sara,Lewis is correct – you will receive a Connection email for each Academy training session that you are registered to attend. We will be sending those out tomorrow, Oct. 1st. The email will confirm the course you are registered to attend, along with reminders of the date and start time of the course, and instructions on how to sign into your class.

My question was more along the lines of the actual conference classes, not the academy class that I signed up for.Ā I will keep an eye on my email to see if anything comes through for the normal sessions.Ā Ā

It included these steps to follow to confirm that your email address is registered correctly and you are ready to go for next week by setting “Favorites) on sessions,Ā it will confirm your logged into the site and ready to go.

…ĀPlease follow the below steps to set up your session schedule.Ā
- Navigate to the session scheduleĀ https://www.dynamiccommunities.com/events/community-summit-north-america/agenda/session-schedule/Ā
- Choose the date you would like to view.Ā Given your access to Summit North America, I would recommend starting with Oct 7th
- Click on the star by one of the sessions you would like to attend ā You will receive a popup that states “You must be logged in to proceed” ā click Login
- Enter the email used for event registration then click Next
- You should receive aĀ verification email.
- Please be sure to check spam and junk folders if you do not receive the verification email
- OnceĀ verification is complete you will be redirectedĀ to the scheduleĀ site (this is where you started logging in ā see step3 for reference)
- From here you will be able to browse sessions and edit/create your schedule for Summit North America
- Note, you will see your selected sessions underĀ My Interest notĀ My Registered SessionsĀ
