How do you hide the folder from people accessing it, but still being able to retrieve files out of NAV ZetaDocs 🙂

Is this a Shared Folder? If so, you can use GPP (Group Policy Preference). You can set a shared drive to be hidden but still accessible and in this case through NAV.

      Hi Holly,

I created a separate SharePoint site collection for NAV only when we migrated to SharePoint Online. There are no links pointing to it so users will not find it from within SharePoint.

      Regards,

      Holly,

The Zetadocs Archive Service is looking for a shared network folder called \<server name>Zetadocs Archive.  If you add a “$” to the shared folder name will break the link with the Zetadocs Archive Service.  The Zetadocs Archive Service will not be able see the folder.

      Regarding Eduardo’s suggestion of SharePoint:

SharePoint is more secure and has more flexibility with permissions.  There is a big issue with moving the files from the Zetadocs Archive to SharePoint.  It is not an easy path to take.  We do have work arounds, if you would like to change your Archive Method to SharePoint.  You can drop me a line at bmoura@usa.equisys.com to talk further about moving from Zetadocs Archive Service to SharePoint.
