Looking for a terminal emulator software compatible with Nav to use on an ipad. Trying to use this on a warehouse environment, want to go mobile.

When you say terminal do you mean Client, or terminal as in ADCS functionality?
For client functions, you can use the NAV app.

If you are using NAV 2013, preferably 2015 or newer, you can use the included Web Client to see the full NAV client. You could then pair down what is on screen using a warehouse specific Profile. Main difference is the print to PDF vs. Printing to a Printer, which can often slow down label printing.
If you are using NAV 2016 or newer, you can use the Tablet Client, again with a Profile that is focused on the warehouse functions.
Lastly, if you are willing to invest in handhelds, I recommend looking at “Warehouse Mobile Date Management” (WMDM) by InsightWorks. This allows you to use a rugged handheld instead of an iPad to process many types of Inventory based transactions (Ship/Receive/Transfer, Consumption/Output, Pick/Put-Away/Move, etc.).
Hope this helps!

For NAV 2015 and higher, the built in tablet and mobile views are great.
For 2013 or earlier, if you are inside of your network, then search for ‘Microsoft Remote Desktop’ in the app store and download that. You will need to setup a connection to access NAV and your Active Directory credentials can be used after that. If you are outside of your network, you will need to VPN in first (we use SonicWALL). These are the high level steps needed – caution is needed as you will be running a non-tablet focused version of NAV on a tablet and the clicking and navigating can be clunky.
InsightWorks is a great recommendation for use on rugged handhelds in the warehouse environment, but there is a cost to all of that versus free going the Microsoft Remote Desktop route (unless you need additional licenses for the connections (VPN, Remote Desktop and/or NAV)).
Thanks,
Tony
