I had a request today to do show the notes factbox from record A–on a page that is for record B. Example: When viewing the sales order you could also see a “Notes” factbox that are notes for the Sell-To Customer record. We’ve done this before using Kine’s solution from back in 2009 detailed here . Basically you put the System “Notes” factbox inside an otherwise blank factbox that has Customer as it’s source table and uses SubPageLink to get the proper customer record. I know this used to work in 2009 R2. But I can’t get it to work in 2016. Anybody have any luck making this work in any of the newer versions?

In this post he discusses how to read the notes and how to create the notes pro-grammatically. When you create a note where the data is saved in the Navision ? I have seen this question being asked several times in the community forum. The answer is the notes are saved in binary format in a blob field (Note) in the Record Linktable (2000000068) and the way it maps to the record is using Record ID.
Unfortunately that is not quite what I’m trying to do Geovanny.Ā ?I am attempting to show the notes using the system factbox. But I wish to have the factbox show the notes from a different table than the current page’s source table. Has anyone found a way to do this in the more recent versions?
, we you get this to work, will you share your steps??
