We have just begun to implement Avalara for sales tax and I was wondering is there a way to print standard NAV/BC reports by document date and not posting date?

In Avalara it wants document date and in NAV/BC the report is based on posting date making it very difficult to reconcile the tax returns.  We have situations where we bill customers for prior month revenue in the current month – it’s easiest for us to post the invoice on the last day of the month while the document date is in the current month.

We just started using Avalara with NAV 2018.  In NAV’s AvaTax Configuration setup, there is a choice between Posting Date and Document Date for the Tax Calculation.  We chose Posting Date, so hopefully we won’t have reconciliation problems.
