We recently upgraded from 24.5 to 26.6 and I noticed a change in the behavior of reservations. We use reservations to allocate inventory for production components using advanced warehousing. In 24.5 the reservations for serial tracked product would reserve but not lock a specific serial number.
This has changed in 26.6. We are getting errors in the picking process if the serial number being picked for a production order has a reservation entry somewhere else. The deletion of the reservation entry will free the serial number for picking. Oddly the unused serial number that was on the original reservation for the production component will not show as available to reserve to a different order. It also does not show as having a reservation entry but it is still available for transactions.
Has anyone else seen this behavior?
