?We are trying to utilize the Requisition Worksheet in NAV 2015 for purchasing items that are non-inventory and would be expensed.Ā Ā Ā Ā  There is an option to select “G/L Account” on the line type.Ā Ā Ā Ā  When I enter the various information, I receive an error.Ā Ā Ā Ā  It feels like maybe I don’t have something turned on right somewhere.Ā Ā Ā  Has anyone else used the Requisition Worksheet for G/L Account type purchases?Ā Ā  I can click through the errors and eventually it seems to let me release it to a Purchase Order.Ā Ā Ā  But I don’t think I should be getting all these error messages.

I have attached a file that has the various screen shots with errors.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

This should work without any errors. Have you tried this with a demo database to see if it is your NAV implementation?

What are you specifying for the other columns?

It sounds like you may have some modifications interfering with the base functionality. Ā I just went through the steps in a base 2016 database and it let me add a G/L line to the requisition worksheet and carry out the action message without any errors. Ā If there is someone who can run the process in debugger mode, you can see where there errors are originating.

      Hello Catherine
The Requisition Worksheet is a calculation process to determine what items kept in inventory should be replenished with a suggested purchase order. this means the line type needs to be Item, as all the replenishment parameters that are used by the replenishment calculation are define by items, and Item SKU.
The intent of the GL Account line type is for purchasing something based on a manual request that will not be added to an inventory item, but expensed directly to the nominated GL account.
