?Hello, I would like to set up a prepayment for a vendor but not based on percentages. In a case where we order $35,000 but have a credit limit with the vendor of $25,000 we need to send a prepayment of $10,000. What is the best way to set this up? Regards.. NAV 2013 R2
As long as everything else is set up for Prepayments, you should be able to put the prepayment amount on the Purchase Line in the field Prepmt. Line Amount Excl. Tax. Even if a percentage is setup, this amount can be overridden. (Note: the percentage will update when statistics is run, but your amount should remain.) This field may need to be added to the Purchase Line.

Agreed with Cynthia that you can assign $10000 the “Prepmt. Line Amount Excl. Tax” field, which will automatically calculate the “Prepayment %”.
This will only work if you have only one pre-payment and rest you will send complete. If you need to send more than one pre-payments, you would need to split your one line into multiple lines and post 100% pre-payments on those lines.
