How many characters can be used in the Pop-Up notes sections?

I don’t recognize that page, but if you look at the table definition in the dev environment, it should tell you if the field is BLOB or text. If it’s text, then the limit is defined there in the table definition. If it’s BLOB then I think it’s practically unlimited (up to 2 GB).

Pop-Up Notes is a 3rd party add on from Cost Control Software. The field you show is quite big but the actual notes are stored as a text field just like the comment sheets that NAV has built in as a standard function. If the text you put in that field is too big for the text field I believe it will automatically split it into multiple lines when saved.

As a former MAS200 user, I really miss pop-up notes.  It is a shame it not a standard feature in NAV.

Standard NAV has comments which can be used as notes and with small modification you can make them pop-up when you want them to show up. Also NOTES can be used to maintain running notes.
