    Hello –

I was wondering if anyone could clarify definitions around the start date and end date when running the planning worksheet. From my experience if you adjust those dates the dates generated in the planning worksheet (due date, order date, start date) are effected.

I would like to understand what the system is calculating based off of those dates.

The system is using the routing times to calculate how long the production order will take to complete the quantity ordered. So if you change the start date, the end date is adjusted for the calculated time. Likewise, changing the end time will affect the start date the same amount of time. End date is the same as due date. I don’t believe the order date should be affected.
