      Greetings,
I’m new to the group and currently working to complete the newbie challenge.

Is there a NAV setting for location/bin to encourage the system to run down inventory in one bin before moving to the next?  We may have the same product in different bins throughout the warehouse at any given time, most with the same lot/expiration.

      Product ABC has 50 each in bins 1, 3, 10 and 14

      • Order 1 has 15 to pick from bin 1
      • Order 2 has 10 to pick from bin 3
      • Order 3 has 25 to pick from bin 10
      • Order 4 had 40 to pick from bin 14

I’d like to see bin 1 emptied before moving to the next bin, but our system wants to scatter the picks across all the bins.

      We’re using NAV2017

      Thank you in advance.

?If your (warehouse) location is set up as directed put-away and pick, then you can use the Bin Ranking field.   Higher ranked bins will be suggested for picking by NAV before lower ranking bins.
