?We were just hit with a huge price increase from Serenic for the payroll option we are using in NAV.Ā  Curious to hear if others were hit as well.Ā  Also would like to hear about other options for doing payroll in NAV.

      Thanks,

Agree with Jason, the other one we see utilized is PrimoPayday.

      Brian,
?Agree with you about the Serenic price increase.Ā  It’s almost like they want you go to elsewhere.Ā

I work for a VAR andĀ our customers have usedĀ a product called simply, ‘NAV Payroll’ several times now and are pleased with the results.Ā  We vetted this product and the company carefully before suggesting it to our clients.Ā  You can find more about their product here:

      Brian,
Whit Lester from NAV Payroll presented for our DFW NAVUG Chapter Meeting.Ā  It looks like it functions a lot like Serenic. Whit’s email address is whit.lester@navpayroll.com

We are a MS partner and talked extensively with NAV Payroll for a couple of our clients.Ā  Although non of our clients have yet decided to implement NAV Payroll, we will likely use them for any future clients that want to implement payroll.Ā  As mentioned earlier in the thread, Whit Lester at NAV Payroll is very responsive to inquiries.Ā  At one point during out communication with Whit they were in the midst of 3 implementations that were transitioning off of Serenic.Ā  I’m sure they would be happy to provide references.Ā  We are out of MD and our clients have PA employees where local taxes are the norm.Ā  When we spoke to NAV Payroll folks, we were told it does not include local taxes in their pay control sets nor their updates, but part of their training will assist with setting them up.Ā  Ā Also, just let them know if you have anything customized as it sounded like they may keep their objects proprietary.Ā  Ā Hope this is helpful info.Ā Ā

      Stay well everyone!

We just implemented PayFocus at our Australian location and integrated with Business Central SaaS.Ā  Not sure what regions they cover or other versions of NAV, but could be an option for you as well.
