Need to get Lot Exp date in ASN using Lanham eShip and EDI
We use Business Central with Lamham eShip and EDI. One of my companies needs to have lot numbers and expiration dates in their EDI ASNs for one of their customers.
They do not use advanced warehousing but are using eShip Packline. By assigning the LOT e-Ship Tracking Code to items, we can get the lot number into the packages, but not the Lot Exp Date. The LOTEXP eShip Tracking Code will put both lot and exp date into the packages BUT it requires shipping to manually enter the expiration date even though the Item Ledger Entries and Shipment Tracking lines have the expiration value already.
I tried mapping the DTM for the expiration date using the Item Tracking Specification table and the Item Ledger Entry table, but neither worked. Is there another way to do this?
