We are getting ready to configure our NAV 2018 environment; and so what is stable and working?
How about Windows Server 2019 Datacenter? This will be for two separate servers:Ā Application (Service Tiers); and Web; and the SQL Server We are about 40 users
And for SQL I suspect that SQL Server Standard Edition 2017 should be fine that what is everybody choosing for NAV 2018 on premise?

Hi Ronald,
NAV 2018 environment can be deployed on Windows 2019 Standard + SQL Server standard 2017. Windows Datacenter edition is used in case you need more than two virtual machines to be provisioned on the same hardware. Ā
NAV 2018 on-premise environment has the following components: 1.Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā NAV Application Server 2.Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā NAV Database Server 3.Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Web Server ā can be on application or on different server places in DMZ 4.Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā SSL certificate to be deployed on web server for securing the connectivity and accessing the application using mobile
Not to miss, the configuration of above components play an important role, which should be based on the transaction volume and number of concurrent users.
