Is the default between NAV and CRM Multi-Company for Customers, Products (we use Resources)? we will need a customer across multiple companiesĀ so a sales agreement for a product might be for company east and for other products to company west, but the same customer?

So it seems so far that they NAV CRM sync for NAV 2016 is really 1 to 1 one company to one CRM; however with some enhancement and configuration variations has been able to be many (companies) to one (CRM) in that the job(s) need to have separate accounts so the integration has separate identities identified to allow for add, edit, deletes, etc. otherwise some conflicts / errors are encountered.Ā Other issues are likely strictly additional features for things like Products between CRM and NAV; and specifically, NAV companies especially if the continuity of Products is not common across all NAV companies even if certain product are unique to companies.Ā And I suspect this has to do with Resources, G_L Accounts and Dimensions too.
Lastly, I am investigating eOne’s SmartConnect as it is likely an alternative and already allows for these issues with better outcomes; including not being limited to Job Ques and the 1 to 1 nature of the Microsoft integration.
