Is there a way to move a tag that has been allocated to a sales order or a RPO without unallocating it first?

?I’m not familiar with Tags in NAV, do you mean Dimension? Or is this something in a newer version of NAV?

I’m on 2013 R2, and we do not have tags.

If you mean a Dimension, so long as the SO hasn’t been posted, you can change the Dimensions at will. Once it’s Shipped you might end up with discrepancies, once it’s Invoiced you can’t change it.

On a Return PO, if the Dimensions don’t match the PO, you may also end up with discrepancies.

But I’m assuming Tags are something else and my response isn’t applicable to you.

Sorry I can’t be of more help, if that’s the case.

Is there a way to move a LOT or change it’s location that has been allocated to a sales order or a RPO without unallocating it first?

      Sorry for my ignorance.

Once it is reserved, I believe you have to take out of the Reservation entries, then move it, and then put it back on the order.

If NAV even let you move it, it wouldn’t update the Reservation Entry from the journal.
