We use Lanham eShip and EDI (and we send ASNs).  I was notified that Amazon will be starting to order a couple of our items in full pallet quantities and that we will no longer need to print case labels.  We will, however, need to print pallet labels. 

The sales order quantities will continue to be likely in EA unit of measure (our base UOM), although it is possible that we may get them to switch and order is CS unit of measure where, depending on the product, there could be 12, 24, 48, etc. EA in a CS.   We don’t have pallet set up as a unit of measure in #NAV2013R2.  

Our question is what is the actual Pack Line process (commands) required to print only pallet labels instead of case labels,  Usually we use //CSPP to create standard packages and print and for some customers we also use //AAP (Add All Packages) which I believe creates a pallet label.  If that is correct to we instead use //CSP to create packages and the //AAPP to add all packages & print?

Lewis,
Let me start by saying that I am not an expert at e-Ship. 

But, I think you could build a Pallet like you would build a carton of the items. Fast Pack would do this pretty easily.
If you have a UOM that is a full carton of eaches, you can pack the number of cartons onto the Pallet.

I am not sure what the Pack Line Scanning commands are, but if you approach building a Pallet? as you would a carton, the Label that comes out should represent that per the setup for the ASN.

Hey Lewis –

You are on the right track… there’s no //AAPP, but you can do //CSP (no print) to create the inner packs, //AAP or //ASP to create the pallet, and then //CPP to get just the pallet/outer pack labels. 

Also, the Packing Rule for Amazon you will need to ensure that the UCC Label Code (Package) is filled in with an appropriate pallet label.  This is the label that will print when you do //CPP.
