The Item’s have a valid Std Pack UOM and Std Packs per Package on the Item Card eShip tab.
The Packing Stations have Create Std Packages Command checked (on the Other Commands tab).

      Is there anything else?

      Hi Lewis,
Are you getting an error or is the command just not doing anything?

In addition to the setups you identified, you would just need the weight and dimensions populated on the Items so that E-Ship knows the weight and dimensions of the resulting packages.  I recommend that you use the Use Unit of Measure Dimensions checkbox on the Item card and fill in the weight, length, width and height on the Item Unit of Measure records.

Finally, for the command to create Packages there needs to be quantities available to ship on the Sales Order that are equal or greater than the Standard Pack size.  The system will not create partial standard packs using the //CSP or //CSPP command.

No error message, it just does nothing.

I just tried setting up the physical item dimensions in the Item Unit Of Measure table for some items and I checked the Use Unit of Measure Dimensions box on the item card.  I created a new order and tested,,  but still had the same result.

Be sure to verify that you can pack the items manually by scanning the Item numbers.  Assuming that you can pack the Items manually, there is probably a customization that is preventing this from working.

One more thing you can check is that the Std. Pack UoM Code and Std. Packs per Package are making it to the Sales Lines.

      Steve,  Thanks for the posts.

We misunderstood and had the Std. Packs per Package field set incorrectly on the Item Card.  Everything is good now.
