      Is anyone doing any EDI mappings in EDIFACT format with Lanham EDI?

      I don’t have any specific questions yet, although some mapping examples could be helpful.Ā  I am currently working on an inbound order and an outbound acknowledgment (apparently called a CONTROL DOCUMENT which is the equivalent of the 997).

      Hi Lewis

      Yes, we’ve implemented inbound DELFOR (830) to create Sales Quote, Blanket Sales Order and Sales Orders,Ā  and outbound DESADV (856 ASN) and INVOIC (810) EDIFACT documents with Lanham.

      It takes a bit to understand the EDIFACT mapping document structure, the different segments, and using component delimiters with the segment elements. But once you get used to the different EDIFACT constructs, the Lanham tools support the implementation of the documents well.

      Did the demo Trade Partner maps for TEST EDIFACT and the EDIFACT documentation I supplied, answer your question?Ā  There is a CONTRL demo map in there.Ā  Let us know if you have any other questions.
