Hello, all. I can’t remember if/where there is a setting to tell E-Ship how many copies of a document to print. We’re in NAV 2018. Thanks!

Hi Noreen
Unfortunately, there isn’t anywhere to set a number of copies to print. Everything prints one copy.

Noreen,
We are in NAV2016 and the following worked for us. Go to the PC that is used for printing the packing list and login as the User ID for shipping. Go to Posted Sales Shipment, and click Print for any Shipment. The Edit-Sales Shipment window will pop-up to allow for you to select options for printing the Packing List. There is a field “Number of Copies” which probably has a zero in it. Change that to 1. Then click Print button at the bottom. Two copies of the Packing List should have printed. NAV should now remember that a 1 was entered in the Number of Copies field. If you go back to manually printing any previous Posted Sales Shipment, you should see the 1 in the field. Now, when processing new shipments via Lanham on that PC and User ID, two Packing Lists should automatically print out.
Thank you, Pratik. That works to increase the number of copies. However, if the setting is one and we receive two printouts, we’re unable to set to zero to receive only one printout. Do you know of a way to change to print only one?

Noreen, do you mean having the ability to change how many copies to print while doing Lanham Pack Line? If so, I am not aware of a way to do it during the Pack Line steps. To default back to one copy printed at all times, the steps I mentioned above can be followed again and enter zero into the Number of Copies field. Hope that makes sense.
