    Trying to set up recurring report 99000788 “Prod. Order – Shortage List”. When trying to turn on recurring in the Recurrence section of the Job Queue Entry Card, I get error “You cannot set up recurring user session job queue entries.” Is this a report that I can’t set up to recur for some reason? I don’t really understand what the error is telling me as far as what is meant by a “user session job queue entry”. Any insight appreciated!

    You may need rights to the Scheduled Task table. Have you checked your permissions?

    Hi Blaine,

    This is odd, can you paste in to this thread what the setup you are trying looks like? I’m having no issues setting this up for recurrence when I try it.

    Paste in that screenshot and we may be of more help.

      Thanks Jo and all. Partner helped resolve. Turns out I had created the queue by going to the report form the “Reports” screen, then selecting “Send To” and “Schedule”. For whatever reason, unknown to the Partner, going this way resulted in the error. Instead, we went straight to “Job Queue Entries” and created the job from scratch. When we did it that way, it worked fine. The partner was going to check with Microsoft why it doesn’t work the way I had tried initially.
