Dear community,

It has been my deepest honor to serve you over the past 11 years at Dynamic Communities (the past 5 with BCUG/NAVUG). I have been thankful every day to support and help drive the most incredible community of leaders who are so passionate about sharing their time, expertise, and experience. Our communities were founded with the belief that a rising tide raises all boats, and I’ve been so blessed to work with so many of you that embody that spirit. I’m eternally grateful and amazed at the countless selfless and tireless contributions to raise all our boats.

With deep and thorough reflection and prayer, I’ve decided it is time to try a new adventure and am leaving Dynamic Communities at the end of the month. However, I cannot leave this community and all the enjoyable and meaningful relationships I’ve formed, so I will be working with New View Strategies. You can reach me at mark@newviewstrategies.com going forward.

In the short term, rest assured that and  are ready to step in and step up. With our Collaborate Canada stop in September and Summit North America in October it’s a great time to get engaged with your User Group and stay on top of all the latest developments. By the way – advanced pricing for Summit ends September 5th – so stop delaying and register for the conference; 1300 fellow community members and a plethora of Microsoft news you cannot miss (couldn’t let an opportunity to plug go by).

Hi :

11 years!!  That’s a long stretch – I’ve only been a part of the community for 7 years and during my first Summit I was introduced to you and it really cemented my connection to NAV and the community.  It all starts from the top and your leadership was such a powerful force that was a key driver in the group’s growth and comradery.  These are big shoes to fill because you were the whole package – personality, conversationalist, sense of humor, fun to be around, detailed…many traits that make up the leadership skills companies are lucky to find in an individual.

I know I’m speaking for a lot of people when I say that we are fortunate that you will still be a part of the community with you joining the New View Strategies group and I look forward to our continued collaboration.

This still hasn’t sunk in yet, but I know it will once I’m settled in at Summit.  But I wish you all the best in your new move and you will make an immediate positive impact – no doubt about it!

I cannot imagine what this community would have been like without you and your leadership for the past five years.  After reading the comments from Tony and everyone else, I am not sure that I can better express what you have meant to us and the community.  “Big Shoes to fill” does not really paint the proper picture.  It is more like a huge crater.  I am confident that Laurie, Paula, and the Dynamic Communities team will do a fine job, however, and the board is here to provide support assist with any upcoming challenges.

I want to thank you for all that you have done and I know I would not be board chair without your support and encouragement.  Thanks for pulling me out of my shell and I will miss our weekly chats.  After our calls end, I find that you always leave me with lots to think about.  Congratulations to New View Strategies on congratulations to you, Mark.  Best wishes for a successful future and I’m so glad that you will continue to be a voice in the BCUG/NAVUG community.

This is a tough message ,

Business Central/NAV users are going to miss your leadership no doubt.  I over the years in my CE/CRM universe tried to emulate a lot of the great things you stand for and live by, first and foremost was listening and fostering the interests and intent of the BC/NAV community.  You’ve always lead from the ground up and that is a cultural point of view to foster community that is simply awesome and makes it genuine and real.  It’s pretty clear the community on this discussion thread clearly saw you doing that in a positive way as well.   Thanks for being that big brother in this ‘for user, by user’ community you’ve helped establish and create over the years!  ?
