NAV2016 – Inventory Test Report does not run and it locks NAV. I’ve recompiled and same results. Has anyone seem this problem? Is there a fix?

do you mean the inventory posting test report? is that report customized ?

run debugger, check if you have an endless loop. 

also check, if there are flowfields, which need long runtimes.

also helpful is the sql profiler.

Yes, report 702. Nothing custom. Just curious why the standard report will not run.

then check windows eventlog for error messages and run sql profiler parallel to the report rendering.

restart nav service, recompile all nav objects.

export that report as text, remove it from database, import and compile.
