      ?Hello All,

Can anyone explain the purpose of table 140 – License Agreement.Ā  It is empty on our live system.

On our test system, the table contains the ID of someone from one of our ISVs.Ā  Our ISV said he received a pop-up asking him to accept a license agreement.Ā  No one else was able to log onto the test system until I added table 140 READ ACCESS to the “ALL” permission set.

It is used pretty much as you would expect.Ā  In 2013 R2 that is from Codeunit 40 Login Management, the LoginStart function. which executes every time a user logs into the system.

If the company is not a demo company (starts with CRONUS in this version, but later changed to be a checkbox in Company Information) it starts down the path of checking to make sure someone has accepted the licensing terms to access and use NAV. It’s one of those things that pops up really early on in the implementation that people forget they even saw. Just blindly accepted terms and conditions.

Thanks, Matt.Ā  It is odd that it just popped up nowĀ on an establishedĀ test system that’s been running for several years.?

I see in Cronus on NAV2018 that table 140 is included in the “Basic” permission set with READ, INSERT, and MODIFY permissions, so I’ll make sure that our users have those same permissions for the table.
