      Do people agree that there is no way out of the box way to drill into a generic chart?

      Yes, that is correct. Generic Charts will display additional information when you hover over something in it, but they do not offer drill down capability. They also do not work in the Web Client or Tablet/Phone apps.

      In NAV 2017, Microsoft has made some specific charts for its built-in Relationship Management functionality in NAV, and these charts – while they look just like Generic Charts – do offer drill down capability.
