Today I learned that I could import a schema file from my bank and generate both an xml object and a data exchange definition record. I hit a roadblock trying to setup the data exchange definition to export an xml for payments. The xml object option created a .txt file that I was able to import into object designer and add mapping to populate fields.

Has anyone used that and what are the pros/cons, problems, issues, etc?

I think this is pretty slick especially if I can learn more about how to fully utilize, documentation is sketchy….

      Kim,

Sounds like the File Type is set to Variable or Fixed Text. Check the setting and you can choose XML.

      Thanks,
      Steve
