DFA and SMTP Mail Setup in NAV

We have Office 365 with dual factor authentication for email and are trying to eliminate all MS legacy protocols but it seems that NAV doesn’t allow for this. We need to send email notifications but also need MFA on the mail account that the system uses. What workarounds have you found and how did you set that up, e.g. server name, port, and authentication type. I can’t seem to find anything that works. Thanks beforehand for some direction.

    Have you contacted your partner?

Has your partner put in a Microsoft support case?

The above steps may be your best option…you could also try community.dynamics.com Though you have to setup an account, it’s free and there is some good tech support from users and partners.
