I started upgrading from NAV 2018 to BC14 a little while ago.Ā Things were going really well.Ā I was able to quickly merged all of our add-ons (To-Increase Foods, Continia, Beck EDI, ChargeLogic) but when I got to Avalara I quickly found out that they do not have a C/AL version only AL.
In NAV 2018 we do have a mixed version of C/AL and AL for our own customization’s but all of our add-ons are straight C/AL so I planned on the same for BC14 as we need to upgrade quickly.Ā At this point I stopped the upgrade not knowing how nicely Avalara will work with a C/AL version of ChargeLogic.Ā Now I am stuck waiting on a license from Avalara to prove out proof of concept (it has been 3 weeks waiting so far for this) as I am unable to publish the app without permission errors.
So, my 2 question are this for BC14: 1) Anyone running Avalara in AL and Chargelogic in C/AL? 2) Anyone running Avalara in AL and Chargelogic in AL?

Unfortunately nothing to report yet.Ā We are stuck as both our Partners’ license and our license is unable to publish the Avalara app on BC14.Ā It’s been about a month that we have been trying to get our licenses upgraded but the response has been mostly crickets from Avalara.Ā Once we get this I will report back with where we stand on things.
