      Hello,

When a movement or production output is posted the maximum quantity on the newly created bin content is set to the same quantity as the warehouse entry? Does anyone know why?

The problem I have is that when the put-away is created, it splits the line as the maximum quantity has been reached

Function InsertBinContent on the codeunit 7301 Whse. Jnl.-Register Line

Hi Andre, while I am no expert in this area and can’t say for sure what the code is written this way, I noticed this line is predicated by an IF statement to check if the location code is set with an Open Shop Floor Bin before setting the bin max quantity.  Does your location have this field defined with a bin code?  If so, removing it should prevent max quantity from being set.

      Regards

      Hi Berl,

If we remove it works, but the point is that we need the bin to be open shop floor.

      Thanks,
