UPGRADING? DON’T PUT THE CAR BEFORE THE HORSE
Session Overview: Whether you are upgrading from Microsoft NAV to Business Central or to another ERP system, don’t go into the decision with blinders on. Just because you know that you must update to the latest and greatest, doesn’t mean you have to close your eyes to new improvement opportunities.
In this session, we will share with you some personal experiences that have helped the process go much smoother for us. We will also point out some of the roadblocks we encountered along the way and detour around them.
Don’t just listen to your peers. Don’t rely on the internet to do the driving for you and steer clear of Copilot. Ask your team. Take time to let the daily users share their successes and concerns. One of the worst things you can do is take the best deal from a partner or think that the things that make you happy and feel all fuzzy inside will work for the people who use the system every day.
Before you start your engines to implement a newer system, saddle up your horses and listen to the advice you can get from all angles.
