Is it possible to build a selectedvalue measure to return the value of the current node that is clicked on in the decomposition tree? I have a table which lists a bunch of cards and their expiration dates, I wanted to have a selected value measure that would hold the value of the expiration date the user clicked on to use in other places. But no matter what I click on or structure the chart, I’m only getting the default value I specified in the selected value formula.

any ideas on how I might accomplish this without adding slicers to the page? I want the emphasis to be solely the chart with minimal other slicers. Since the idea is for them to work with the chart to find the data they need.

      thanks

I’ll have to see what I can do to sanitize it for sharing first.
