We have some assets that are fully depreciated as of 3.31.2022 and DGP, as the final depreciation entry, took a full month instead of the amount left. We now have several assets with a negative net book value. Why did this happen and can I fix it? Thank you

You can manually go in, and adjust the YTD and LTD depreciation amounts, to the correct amount.Ā  That is under the card, then Book of the asset.

If you posted the JE from that, you will need to record a correcting entry.

I am not sure why it would do that, but this will fix the issue, short term.Ā  Make sure the book asset value matches the general asset card, also.
