I use a SmartList from the Receivables Transactions with the following parameters:

Document Type – is equal to – Credit memos

Then add any other parameters you might need.

This will only return credit memos, not returns.

I ended up reacquainting myself with the (Price List Utilities) Copy Price List Wizard, to give that team what they needed.

When you add the new UofM it should ask you if you want to roll it down…

I depends on where you are at in the process…

1. Check for Batch Recovery – Tools>>Utilities>>Batch Recovery (Used when in the middle of posting)

2. Find the Batch in GL and Delete then re-enter.

It is hard to say with out more info and screen shots of where you are at in the process.

I have a user that wishes to add a new 16H Unit of Measure to the Schedule ID EACH.

I think you might be correct, accidently of course. It happened in Jan2025, the first month we went live with GP2018, upgrading from GP2015. If I can narrow enough of the issue to reproduce it, then I will try a trace.

Wipfli ExpenseConnect, I believe, makes eConnect calls as part of their processing.

Yes, the issue is with jumping JE numbers. It is set correctly (7 digits) in the GL40000 Table. 1187586 is the next at this moment.

Some, not all Wipfli ExpenseConnect processed records jump back to JEs in the 12445 to 12669 (so far) range.

We would be able to use GP Power Tools to debug this and find out when the next GL Journal number is being returned and is less than the previous value.

We can then add a trigger to prevent that from happening.

It is possible that the window is exempt from security.

If you have GP Power Tools, it will show you who has access to what and will identify if a window is exempt from security.

If the window is exempt, you can then use the Enhanced Security window to hide the menu option.

Have you checked that Security is enabled for all companies.

You need to check one by one looking at Tools >> Setup >> Company >> Company and make sure the Security checkbox is selected.

Or run this script on the DYNAMICS database to find the companies and update them if needed.

Exactly as it shows on this printed report. To fix it the GP Administrator had to delete the exactly transactions, and then enter the Journal entry manually.

It was also strange that this originated as a batch in Payables. But when it posted GP2018 split it into two journal entries, with the larger one missing a part to be out of balance.

I would undo the bank reconciliation and start over.

You may have to have your partner help with this because this is done on the SQL server.

Started off with an incorrect bank statement ending date and entered Other Income in the Reconcile Bank Adjustments screen. I believe we have found the issue. There was an MO in WO010032 with a blank MANUFACTUREORDER_I. I deleted that record and posting has resumed it’s normal speed. What’s weird is that the MO had a changed date back in March, but it didn’t start affecting things until July.

I suggest you start logging the time, volume and speed every day. Then start looking for things to correlate the ‘slow processing times’ to.
