<p>Document Type &#8211; is equal to &#8211; Credit memos</p>
<p>Then add any other parameters you might need. </p>
<p>This will only return credit memos, not returns. </p>

<p>The key thing to know: revenue sits on the kit header row (<span>CMPNTSEQ = 0</span>), and cost sits on the component rows (<span>CMPNTSEQ &gt; 0</span>). Miss that, and your COGS will be all over the place.</p>

<p>1. Check for Batch Recovery &#8211; Tools&gt;&gt;Utilities&gt;&gt;Batch Recovery (Used when in the middle of posting)</p>
<p>2. Find the Batch in GL and Delete then re-enter.</p>
<p>It is hard to say with out more info and screen shots of where you are at in the process.</p>
<p>Check links may also be needed.</p>

It happened in Jan2025, the first month we went live with GP2018, upgrading from GP2015.  Mid-month of January some of the settings were changed from posting all detail to the balance sheet accounts for AP Trade and AP Accrual, to posting in summary.  </p>

We are in the process of fixing the configuration with the help of Wipfli Support.</p>
<p>We have this implemented in multiple GP companies and ExpenseConnect was incorrectly selecting one of the other companies and using the next available Journal number from&hellip;</p>

It is set correctly (7 digits) in the GL40000 Table. <span>1187586 is the next at this moment. </span></p>
<p><span>Some, not all Wipfli ExpenseConnect processed records jump back to JEs in the 12445 to 12669 (so far) range.</span></p>

<p>If you have GP Power Tools, it will show you who has access to what and will identify if a window is exempt from security.</p>

To fix it the GP Administrator had to delete the exactly transactions, and then enter the Journal entry manually.    </p>
<p>It was also strange that this originated as a batch in Payables.  But when it posted GP2018 split it into two journal entries, with the larger one missing a part to be out of balance.  <br /><br&hellip;</p>

Since using a computerized accounting system (many ages ago) I balance the input.  I check that invoice numbers, dates and amounts are correct.  Then POST.  </p>

Reaqqlized I had the wrong ending date, made that correction, but did not realize that the adjustment kept the incorrect date. So, the posting date shoudl have been for 8/31/24, instead i t was 8/31/25. What is the best&hellip;</p>

There was an MO in WO010032 with a blank MANUFACTUREORDER_I. I deleted that record and posting has resumed it&#8217;s normal speed. What&#8217;s weird is that the MO had a changed date back in March, but it didn&#8217;t start affecting things until July.</p>

<p>I suggest you start logging the time, volume and speed every day.  Then start looking for things to correlate the &#8216;slow processing times&#8217; to.  I would start by interrogating/logging other posting activities in GP.  Accounts Receivable is a good place to start as it&#8217;s common for their volume of postings to impact other processing. &hellip;</p>
