Purchase Requisition in D365 F&O can be viewed by all staff by default, irrespective of the requesters legal entity. Is there a way to restrict based on requesting users legal entity? i.e. PRs to be viewable by users from the requesters legal entity only. If the purchasing legal entity is different, they can also view. How can this be achieved?Ā
Thanks Shabeer

Hi Shabeer,
Have you tried using the “Assign organizations” feature on the Employee role?
This will allow you to limit the legal entity that the User can access for PRs.
Purchase requisitions are in a “shared” table, and each line of a PR can potentially belong to a different ledger entity, hence I would be surprised if PR can be restricted from view based on a line level details.
What we do, is have our requisitioners access requisitions through the menu entry of “Requisitions Created by Me”Ā – hence they only see their own requisitions, and none of other people’s requisition (including ones from other companies).
