      HiĀ

I have searched the web and the forums here and i can’t see anywhere a solution where you can create Intrastat and EU sales lists reports in different countries for the same period and only include the applicable item movements related to that country from a single legal entity.

The situation we have is that we will have warehouses in The Netherlands and Poland and the legal entity is from Denmark.

There will be sales dispatched from both sites to within the EU and also some transfers between the two sites.

I see that the complexities come from the following:

      • foreign trade parameters country/region properties
      • transaction codesĀ
      • report layout andĀ
      • reporting currency

We already have a modification that enables reporting from a Danish legal entity in The Netherlands and his can also work for Poland but is a manual process and still trying to determine the report filtering requirements to ensure accurate reporting.

I currently cannot determine a work around for the EU Sales List.

Has anyone had to deal with this before and I would really like to know how you managed to deal with the reporting requirements.

      Hi Craig,

We use a tool called Atlas (from Insight Software) to report on our intrastat movements (https://insightsoftware.com/atlas/). We are starting to have issues with the size of our data sets though (reports take hours to run, and frequently time out), so depending on how many transactions you have, you might want to explore PowerBI options rather than Atlas as a long-term solution.Ā
Also – we don’t just have one report, we have one for sales orders, one for transfer orders, one for return orders, and then our tax person does some massaging of the data to get all the right numbers for the reporting to the authorities. Another thing we figured out along the way: go by pack slip date and not the order date as this way it will capture all shipments on the order even if they weren’t on the same day.

We run D365F&O, but Atlas also supports AX2012.

Happy to answer any more questions if you have any.
      Kerstin
