How do you reopen the inventory after you have already closed it for the month?  I have one entry that needs to be posted to February.

Select IM – Periodic – Closing and adjustment.  Select the “close” that you want to reverse and click the cancellation button in the menu.  NOTE – if you have subsequent closes after the desired close, you have to cancel all closes after and backwards.

Also – make sure your GL periods are open as the close makes adjustments in the period being cancelled when it undoes that action.

Hi,

System will not allow to reopen the inventory after closing.

Still you can use “Cancellation” option on for the last active inventory closing. It will cancel the closing and reverse all closing transaction & adjustments.

Moreover, cancellation of inventory cannot be applied on selective items/groups. It will cancel inventory closing for last active closing.

Once you have done with your backdated entry, you have do close the inventory again.
