We use intercompany direct deliveries, and have activated WMS.
Business case: order is placed by a customer to company A, company A places an order to company B, company B ships to the customer.
Issue is that when shipping from company B, the packing slip needs to reflect the customer information (ie company A sales order data).
Although we can retrieve the packing slip from company A (standard D365FO intercompany functionality), we don’t have the container details on it nor the weight, as we capture them in the pack station in company B.
Has any of you encountered this challenge?Ā How did you manage?
We’re considering making adjustment to copy values from Company A to Company B, and then make a “company A packing slip mock up” in company B.
