I was wondering if there is any way for us to delete the contents of a bin we have created for the R&D lab at our company. We have thousands of products in this bin that we use daily, but are not considered part of our company inventory (in terms of being available for our daily production). We just completed a physical inventory and we need to update our bin. Is there a way to delete everything from our bin so that we can manually go back in (using phys. inventory journal) and do one line entry per item? Our only option right now is to maybe do a positive adjustment, maybe a negative adjustment, a reclassification, etc. based on whether quantity and lot number is the same.

?I’m not sure if this answers what you are asking, but you can use the Phys. Inventory Journal to remove inventory from a bin.Ā Just filter by the bin code when you Calculate Inventory.
