Thanks Jo and all. Partner helped resolve. Turns out I had created the queue by going to the report form the “Reports” screen, then selecting “Send To” and “Schedule”. For whatever reason, unknown to the Partner, going this way resulted in the error. Instead, we went straight to “Job Queue Entries” and created the job from scratch. When we did it that way, it worked fine. The partner was going to check with Microsoft why it doesn’t work the way I had tried initially.
