I second that. Attending Summit is a must. While there, you should plan to meet and network with other users there and ask questions about the partner they use.

Check your Customer Posting Groups to make sure that you have an Interest Account specified.

SOLVED: We needed to add an E.D.I. Job Routine “SENDCRM” and then add the “SENDCRM” parameter to the EDI Job Queue.

I recently had to map an EDI 810 Credit Invoice. I was surprised that the trading partner was looking for this as an EDI 810 and not and EDI 812.

Anyway, I don’t see a way to send the document using the Job Queue (like the EDI 810 “Debit” Invoice).

Has anyone done this?

QUESTION: Does current BC (BC25) and current Lanham EDI (810 SAC) support multiple sales discounts on a sales invoice (ex: 4% Defective Allowance + 2% Unsaleable Merchandise Allowance)?

I’ve never tried on a sales order, but you may be able to use a (RapidStart) Configuration package to export sales lines to Excel, update there and then import back into BC.

I would try this in a sandbox environment first.

The error is stating that you do not have READ access to table 6217 – Sustainability Setup.

I am not familiar with this table and it does not exist on my BC14 system, so it is either relatively new, or from an add-on or enhancement.

One other solution is to use the Physical Inventory Journal and Print. If you go to the Physical Inventory and Calculate Inventory, the report has options to Show Qty. (Calculated) and Show Serial/Lot Number.

Hi Tim! It’s been a while…thanks for jumping in here.

I think we learned last night that the problem is related to a missing eShip Tracking Code on the Item Card.

Anyone using Lanham eShip – We occasionally have some items where the package does not close on an order through the normal packline process, We need to go back, list packages and manually close the package for just one (or some) items.

Has anyone seen this or have any thoughts on this?

We use Lanham EDI and have been using it since 2006. It is fully integrated into BC. Lanham allows you to manage and maintain your trading partners and EDI maps, or I believe you can hire Lanham Services to manage it for you.

Other BC/NAV EDI ISVs include SPS Commerce and True Commerce.

Hello Everyone,

I have what seems to be a strange situation. Some items with a GL Unit of Measure Code are not having their Unit of Measure (description) field populated on purchase orders despite the value “Gallons” being defined for code “GL” in the Units of Measure table.

This is an issue in production and it works in test.

We’re on BC14 on premise.

Do your BOMs call for the raw material by a weight UOM or a length UOM? I am guessing you cannot convert between weight and length (ex: x feet = y pounds) because of the difference in how the coil is provided from each vendor.

It is not always easy but with permissions you can protect whatever data you need to.

All inventory transactions are written to the Item ledger Entry table, so you might be able to write a report using the Item Table and the Item Ledger Entry table.
