The system is using the routing times to calculate how long the production order will take to complete the quantity ordered. So if you change the start date, the end date is adjusted for the calculated time. Likewise, changing the end time will affect the start date the same amount of time. My biggest gripe with BC 20 is the inability to copy a value from a cell. The stupid pop up is absolutely useless.

We added a comments field of 250 characters. It is visible in all item related journals (including physical inventory). These comments are then visible in the item ledger entries.

Since there is a new permission set for Edit in Excel, we were confident in having it enabled. Our partner Innovia completed the setup for us.

We are still on premise. We have successfully added edit in Excel for those users where the permission has been granted. We have not tried to connect BC to Outlook. We have Microsoft’s CRM linked to both BC and Outlook. That is addressing all of our connectivity needs.
