<p>If you want financial reporting inside D365 → Financial Reporter (built-in) is still solid</p>
<p>If you need advanced reporting + external data + analytics → Defacto / Fabric approach makes sense</p>

<p>Document Type &#8211; is equal to &#8211; Credit memos</p>
<p>Then add any other parameters you might need. </p>
<p>This will only return credit memos, not returns. </p>

<p>If it’s just generic screens, that’s usually not a great sign. But when they ask good questions, relate things to your actual process, and even bring in relevant ISV ideas early, that’s when you know they’ve understood the business.</p>

If it&#8217;s allowing you to post sometimes and not others. Indirect posting permission sets in BC would allow for that, too. </p>

<p>In Account Schedules / Financial Reporting, the Base for Percentage in a Row Definition does not calculate a percentage by itself.</p>
<p>It only works when ALL of the following are true:</p>
<ol>
<li>The percentage is calculated in the column definition</li>
<li>The base row exists AND returns a value</li>
<li>The base row is already calculated</li>
<li>The rows are cumulative‑calculated&hellip;</li>

If the production order registration is in “Registered” (product receipt) status, you generally can’t directly unregister it like picking or route transactions. <p>The key thing to know: revenue sits on the kit header row (<span>CMPNTSEQ = 0</span>), and cost sits on the component rows (<span>CMPNTSEQ &gt; 0</span>). Miss that, and your COGS will be all over the place.</p>
